Joe Brown, 81, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on July 7, 2025. He was born on September 7, 1943, in Dubach, Louisiana, to Pete Brown and Emma Lou Bilberry Brown.
Joe was a longtime member of Church on the Rock in Hamburg. He lived out his faith through witnessing to others whenever he could, including jail ministry. He was a kindhearted and resilient man who loved the Lord and devoted his life to helping and providing for others.
He worked for over 30 years at the Crossett Paper Mill and also served in the National Guard. In his free time, Joe enjoyed locksmithing, repairing lawnmowers, and growing a pepper garden each year. He found joy in being outdoors and especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thornton Sidney Brown and Tommy Brown.
Joe is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Bailey Brown; and his daughter, Kim Hall (William) of Crossett; along with two granddaughters, Jessica Hall and Jenniffer Hall; two great-grandchildren, Abigail (Asher) and Liam Swan; two brothers, Sparky and Rusty; and five sisters, Anne (Toor), Emily, Nina, Gena, and Johnette.
No services will be held at this time.
