Joshua Autry, 33, of Crossett, passed away on May 20, 2018. He was born November 6, 1984, to Alan Dale and Sheila Mae Forman Autry.
Joshua was an avid music lover who played the drums, enjoyed reading, working word puzzles, and spending time outdoors. He had a special place in his heart for all animals and a wonderful sense of humor, including doing impersonations, playing practical jokes, and anything else to make people laugh. Joshua was a smart, genuine person who was a natural leader and a great listener from whom others sought advice. He had a great knowledge of The Holy Bible and loved Biblical debates.
Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Alan Dale Autry.
He is survived by his mother, Sheila Autry of Crossett; sisters Charity Faith Langston of Crossett, and Angela Gail Setzer and husband, Troy, of Dallas, TX; grandparents Jerry Forman of Kansas, Eva Forman of Crossett, and Leah Shows of Rosenberg, TX; aunts and uncles Michael and Shari Forman of Mayflower, AR, John Mark and Kenisa Forman of White Hall, Jerry and Alex Forman of Savannah, GA; nieces and nephews, Lance Alan Setzer; Sandra Noelle Setzer, Alanna Rose Langston, Sophie Caroline Langston, and Chantry William Levi Langston.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 26th at the First United Pentecostal Church, 102 Etheridge Drive in Crossett with Pastor Larry Hickman officiating, followed by an interment at the Extra Cemetery in Hamburg under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Dwayne Miles, Jerry Walton, Doyle Walton, David Johns and Mike Mills. Honorary pallbearers are John Forman, Jerry Forman, Freddy Hipp, Chris Bronson, Rusty Slayter, and Michael White.
Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, May 25th, also at the church.
