Josiah Raye Walton

Josiah Raye Walton, precious son of Christian Walton and Mariela Davila, was born on Friday, September 26, 2025, and went to be with the Lord the same day. Though his time on earth was brief, Josiah's life brought an everlasting light and love that will forever be cherished by his family. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joey Walton. 

Josiah is survived by his parents, Christian Walton and Mariela Davila of Crossett; his sister, Ivette Nayeli; his maternal grandfather, Juan Davila; maternal grandmother, Deborah K. Brown and Dianne Hartness; paternal grandmothers,  Antonia Bass; great-grandmother, Maria McLemore {Bobby Lee); and paternal great-grandparents, Doyle and Carolyn Walton. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Crossroads Cemetery, with Bro. Keith Smith officiating. 

Josiah's life, though short, is a gift that will never be forgotten. He rests now in the arms of Jesus, and his family holds fast to the hope of being reunited again one day.
