Joyce Fay Ford, 81, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born in Warren, Arkansas, on January 11, 1942, to the late Clifton Earl and Bessie Vines Williams. She was a 1960 graduate of Monticello High School and a member of Judson Missionary Baptist Church.
Joyce prided herself at being a good homemaker, wife, and mother which she surpassed in all. She also loved to read and was a big hog fan. She worked hard every growing season putting up all the veggies from the garden.
Joyce always gave God praise, displaying her faith in everything she did, and raising her kids to know the true glory of God. She loved her family and gave herself fully to providing a home filled with love, encouragement, and happiness. She was her family’s counselor and always there with wisdom, kindness, and hugs when needed. She will be greatly missed until we see her again in Glory.
She leaves behind her husband, Charles Edward Ford of Hamburg (Milo Community); one daughter, Rita Lynn Williams (Harold) of Damascus, AR; and one son, Dewayne Allen Ford (Denise) of Clinton, MS; along with one sister, Linda Kay Wilkerson of Wilmar, AR; and five grandchildren, Britney Williams Corker, Ben Ford, Justin Ford, McKenzie Ford, and Michaela Ford.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday March 26th at Judson Cemetery, Hamburg (Milo), with Rev. Michael Farmer, officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., before the service.
Services entrusted to Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
