Katherine Ann “Pinky” Gardner, 80, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born in Crossett, Arkansas on December 30, 1941, to her parents, Andrew, and Lucille Paris Hargraves, was a 1960 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church.
For many years, Pinky worked at the Hamburg Shirt Factory and after retiring in 2006 was able to spend quality time with her beloved grandchildren. Pinky also loved to travel, go to flea markets, and garage sales.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of thirty-four years, Ernie Gardner, a sister Kaye Jackson and a great-granddaughter, Karaleah Wilcox.
She leaves behind one daughter, Tammy Hopper (Martin) of Crossett and one sister, Jackie Baker (Doug) of Salem, Indiana; along with two grandchildren, Allison Wilcox (Johnathan), and Adam Hopper (Damian Rhodes); and two great-grandchildren, Kimberlyn and Johnny Wilcox.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31st at Carlock Cemetery with Bro. Martin Hopper officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the cemetery prior to the service.
