Lavina Faye Grider, 53, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully January 18, 2025, at her home. She was born in Crossett, grew up in Huttig and lived most of her life in Hamburg. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Lucille Ward-Brown, father, W.L. “Dub” Brown, and her twin sister, Sabrina Kaye Grider.
Lavina was a devoted housewife who always made sure everyone had plenty to eat, especially her dogs. She enjoyed talking to her family and friends daily, giving advice, and keeping up with their daily lives. She loved watching Food Network.
She is survived by her husband, David Grider, her special niece who she raised, Haley Grider, nephew, Caleb French, many loving cousins, and her beloved dogs, Shorty, Buddy and Tiny.
Her wishes were to be cremated with no service.
Honorary pallbearers are Chad Doss, Durwood Lynn Doss, LW Ward Jr., Tammy West, Rose Gray, and Jeremiah Franklin.
