Louis “Glen” Sivils, 81, of Crossett, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Little Rock.
Born on August 3, 1944, Glen was a 1962 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church. He was a hardworking and highly intelligent man who took great pride in his career, serving as Operations Manager for Continental Grain, ConAgra, and later a poultry operation in Jamaica. Known for his strong work ethic, Glen truly loved to work and was always on the go—an early bird who believed in making the most of every day.
Glen was a Mason and Shriner and was well known for his friendly, outgoing nature. He never met a stranger and was quick to share a smile—one that many will remember fondly. In his free time, he enjoyed riding horses and hunting, sharpening his knives, cleaning his guns, and settling in to watch college football, especially cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Above all else, Glen loved his family immensely. His life was marked by dedication, warmth, and a genuine enjoyment of people and purpose. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Christopher and Mollie Thomas Sivils and leaves behind his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Brenda Snider Sivils of Crossett; two sons, Chris Sivils of Valley Head, AL and Lance Sivils of Hamburg; along with five grandchildren, Logan, Lauren, Landon, Wyatt, and Easton Sivils; and one great-grandson, Greyson Sivils.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20th, at the North Crossett First Baptist Church, 1035 Hwy 133, in Crossett with Bro. Robin Allen, officiating, followed by interment at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Wyatt, Landon, Easton, Greyson, and Logan Sivils, and Mike Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Goodwin, Greg Sivils, RC Thomas, Mike Richards, and Pat Smith.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
