Mary Ruth Burgess of Crossett passed away Monday, January 1, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents Murrell and Ercille Stanley, brother Norman Stanley, and infant sister Frances Mae.
She is survived by husband Samuel E. Burgess, daughter Holli Davis (Gary Griffin), son Rusty Reynolds, sister Genia Kay Manning, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Mary Ruth lived many years in Pensacola, Florida before returning to Crossett. She had the experience of working a summer in Yellowstone, traveling to Europe and the Holy Land, and enjoyed cruises in recent years.
Memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 27th, at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
Visitation to follow in the Parish Hall.
