It is with heavy heart that we announce that we have lost our beautiful mom, Millicent Mitzi Burroughs on Friday, December 19th, 2025. She slipped quietly into the arms of Jesus.
She was born on May 7th, 1935, in Strong AR. She was a graduate of Strong High School. She lived in Crossett, AR for 25 years, raising her four children. in 1984, she and her husband, Ray Burroughs (Little Rock, AR) moved from Midland Michigan to Chicago, IL for 3 years. In 1987, they moved to Richmond, VA where she and Ray lived until his death in 2011. She moved to Gadsden, AL in 2012 to be near her daughter and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvis Eugene Harper and Millicent Rosebud Copeland Harper of Strong, AR and her husband Raymond Lee Burroughs.
Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her four children and their spouses. Steve (Heaven) White, Pottsboro, TX David (Penny) White, Broken Arrow, OK Susie (Frank) Orr, Gadsden, AL and Mike (Tina) White, Fordyce, AR. She has 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 18th at Medders Funeral Home in Crossett, Arkansas, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike White officiating.
