Obituary

Patricia Fife Gray, 77, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023.  She was born on August 14, 1945, in Delhi, Louisiana, to her parents, John Albert and Vera Cathey Fife, and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Hamburg.

She was an excellent seamstress and a fabulous cook.  She enjoyed reading, fishing, antique hunting, and traveling with her late husband, Bruce.  She also had a deep love for animals and never hesitated to care for strays that needed attention.

Patricia made many friends over the last twenty-two years as office manager for D & A Rental Properties.  She was a humble, private person, very quiet, strong in her faith and extremely loyal to those whom she called friends.  Her family was everything to her and she loved them immensely, especially her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Bruce Gray, and two brothers, Kenneth and Bobby Fife.

She leaves behind two daughters, Angela Webb of Crossett and Missy Meeks (Shawn) of Sterlington, Louisiana; two sisters, JoAnn Reeves (Hollis) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Betty Miracle (Bob) of Vicksburg, Mississippi; one sister-in-law, Twylia Warlick (James Mack) of Sherwood, Arkansas; along with six grandchildren, Trace Bulloch, Emma Bulloch, Brooke Webb, Macie Webb, Joel Webb, and Christian “Bogie” Webb; one great-grandchild, Fynlee Williams; and beloved sister and brother friends, Tony and Pam Blann.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30th, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, with Bro.  Keith Boseman, officiating, followed by interment at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Tony Blann, Doug Webb, Trace Bulloch, Joel Webb, Christian Webb, John Grady Richards, Jerry Rogers, and Gary Morgan.  Honorary pallbearer will be Doyle Book.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
