Paula Ann Stanley, 59, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 21,1966, in Crossett, Arkansas, to Charles and Shirley Pence, and spent her life in the town she loved, where she built deep roots and formed lasting connections within the community.
Above all else, Paula’s most treasured accomplishment was raising her two beloved daughters. She poured her heart and soul into motherhood, nurturing her children with unwavering love, patience, and devotion. Her family was her greatest joy and the center of her world.
Paula found additional happiness in her creative hobbies. She was a talented and dedicated crafter who spent countless hours crocheting and knitting beautiful blankets, Afghans, and handmade gifts. She especially enjoyed making blankets for children’s hospitals, where her thoughtful creations brought comfort and smiles to young patients and their families during difficult times. She also delighted in crafting special pieces for her friends and family, each one a quiet expression of her deep care.
Those who knew Paula will remember her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the quiet strength she showed in her everyday life. She found deep fulfillment in the simple things, creating something beautiful with her own hands and knowing it would bring joy and warmth to someone else.
Paula’s legacy will live on through the loving family she raised, the many blankets that continue to wrap others in warmth, and the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and creativity. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the Crossett community she called home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Pence; her stepfather, Roland Stanley; and her brother, Adam Bond.
Paula is survived by her husband, Allen Stanley; her daughters, Hanna Stanley (Wesley Watt) and Nicole Stanley; her sisters, Robin Berryman (Jason), Ashley Bond, and Wendy Morris; and her mother, Shirley Jeffers; one grandson, Raiden Watt, along with her special Aunt Louise and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a children’s hospital or a charity supporting local crafting initiatives in Paula’s honor.
