Phillip Louis Ross

Phillip Louis Ross, 62, of Hamburg, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023.  He was a native of Transylvania, Louisiana, and settled in Ashley County. 

Phillip was a dedicated construction worker and avid outdoorsman.  His passion for hunting and fishing was only surpassed by his love for his family.  He was also a talkative and cherished friend, always ready for heartfelt conversations.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Swafford, and stepfather, Joe Swafford.  He leaves behind his loving wife of thirty years, Sheila Plumley Ross, and one brother, Richard Swafford of Little Rock; along with a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 2nd, at Medders Funeral Home of Crossett, with Rev. Toby Austin, officiating.
