Rebecca Keen Obituary

Rebecca Jane Hendrix Keen, 57, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She was born on September 19, 1961, to her parents, Charles and Erla Jane Thurman Hendrix and was a member of the CHS Class of 1979. She was a former librarian at the Crossett Public Library and worked as a hairstylist for many years. Rebecca enjoyed singing and playing musical instruments, fishing, and cooking. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Erla Jane Thurman Norrell. She is survived by two sons, Mitch Doss of Crossett, and Ben Hamilton (Sharon) of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Aimee Keen of Hamburg; her father, Charles Hendrix of Danville; one brother, Bobby Hendrix (Michele) of Danville; one sister, Beverley Collier of Crossett; one granddaughter, Kylie Crumley of Hamburg; along with a host of other relatives.
