Ronald “Dawg” Vincent, 68, of Crossett, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on January 7, 1952, to his parents, Joseph Ophe and Maurine Gray Vincent.
He retired from Union Pacific Railroad and worked in construction for many years. His passions included hunting and fishing, working on Toyotas and visiting with his friends.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Vincent.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Pam Vincent of Crossett; four children, Joyde and Jonathan Vincent, both of Shreveport, LA, Cassandra Curl (Roger) of Rayville, LA, and Danielle Rice (Chadd) of Crossett; two brothers, Rodney Vincent (Beverly) of Fountain Hill, AR, and Glen Vincent (Suzette) of Shreveport, LA; thirteen grandchildren, Halee May (Jacob), Hunter and Tristin Curl, Lexi Gable, Chase, Ryan, and Maci Rice, J.C. Chenos, Michael, Jayden, Bailee, Lakely, and Eastyn Vincent; one great-granddaughter, Braylee May; and special friends, Shane Montgomery (Tiphini), Gordy Wilcox (Brandy), Ricky Martin (Nicki), and the Bradley Industrial Construction family; along with a host of other family and friends here and in south Louisiana.
His family will be accepting friends throughout the weekend at their home with lunch provided Saturday, March 14th.
A “Cajun Send-Off” will be held by the family at a later date.
