Got to know ‘Swamp Dawg’ in the mid 80’s... we all cross paths for a reason... glad we crossed paths... RIP

Ronnie’s entire family was a blessing to all of us who grew up in Sunset Acres. I don’t think there was anyone our age who could say anything negative about Ronnie or his family. I will never forget how good he was at playing second base when I was trying to play shortstop for Sunset Acres. He was a great ball player and a great friend. I last spoke to him by phone right after his dad passed away, and we had time to reflect back on our Sunset Acres days.

God makes some folks just plain good to the core, and my friend Ronnie Vincent was one of those folks.

Dear Pam and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ronnie. I rejoice with you that he is now totally healed and with The Lord. I have been and continue to lift you up in prayer as you go through this very difficult time. May you be enfolded in the arms of Jesus where there is comfort for your broken hearts, strength to continue on with life, and peace knowing Ronnie is with Jesus now. As your memories come to you, bask in the joy of time you spent with Ronnie.
