Ruby Mae Raines, 86, of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 15, 1934, to her parents, Conley and Marie Collins Hensley. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Crossett.
Ruby was a retired seamstress who loved crocheting and quilting. She was a devout Christian lady who cherished reading her Bible and attending church. She also adored her church family, cooking comfort foods and working crossword puzzles.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Raines; three sons, Robert Jackson, Gene Jackson, and Richard Jackson and one daughter Mary Baty.
Ruby is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Walton (Doyle) of Crossett and Barbara Aubuchon also of Crossett; along with ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Larry Hickman officiating. Pallbearers are Guy Gonzales, Cody Cross, AJ Delk, Joey Walton, Cole Baty and Jimmy Fuqua.
A come and go visitation will be held at Medders Funeral Home of Crossett from 12:00-12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
