Sharon Renee’ Cone, 59, of Crossett, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock. She was born in West Monroe, Louisiana, on October 15, 1962, to her parents, Bruce and Betty Wolf Bush. She grew up in Monticello, Louisiana, where she graduated high school in 1981.
On July 21, 1991, Renee’ married her best friend and soulmate, Mike, and moved her home to Crossett. For several years, she worked in the Crossett School cafeterias and the Ashley County Medical Center cafeteria during the summers.
Renee’ was a fabulous cook and could make an incredible chocolate pie, among other things. She also enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, and being Mike’s copilot on his Harley. Logging nearly 100,000 miles, they traveled the country over, making friends and making memories. Renee’ enjoyed spending time with her many biker friends and family of the motorcycle community, especially with the Swamp Rider’s Motorcycle Club of Prescott and Camden. She was proud to serve as the SRMC Ole Lady.
Her outgoing, bubbly personality and big heart made her everyone’s friend, and she would do anything for anyone. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend who loved everyone but especially loved Jesus Christ.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her cousin, Sandra Lynn Wolf Brown.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Mike Cone; two daughters, Chelsea Nichole Gulledge (Jacob) of Hamburg and Leslie Michelle Pilgram of West Monroe, Louisiana; and one son, Charles Michael “Charlie” Cone Jr. (Crystal) of Bryant, Arkansas. She also leaves one sister, Anita Lynn McLarrin (Rayburn) of Bastrop, Louisiana; one brother, Bruce Edwin Bush (Cheryl) of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, Gracie, Matthew, Michael, Aubrey, Lily, and Reid; and her long-time best friend, Teresa Blankenship.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1st, at North Crossett First Baptist Church, 1035 Highway 133 N, Crossett, Arkansas, with Pastor Robin Allen officiating, followed by interment at Crossroads Cemetery, under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Charlie Cone, Jacob Gulledge, Jim Cone, Troy McLarrin, Eric Bush, and Kade Sharp. Honorary pallbearers will be the Swamp Riders.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30th at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett.
