Sondra Dehart Obituary

Sondra Lynn Dehart, 50, of Little Rock, formerly of Crossett, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  She was born on December 13, 1969, in Monroe, Louisiana, to her parents Michael and Gloria Greenfield Schoonover, and was a member of the Crossett High School Class of 1988.

At Waffle House, where she worked as a head cook, she greeted everyone with a smile and was known for her one-of-a-kind loud cackling laugh that could be heard from a mile away.

Sondra loved being outdoors and recently discovered her passion for planting flowers and even had started a garden.  She also loved taking road trips to visit her kids and grandson, Sky, and see the beautiful bodies of water of northern Arkansas.

Although her life was not always easy, she overcame many obstacles.  Her heart was pure, and because of the immense amount of love she had for her family and friends, she tried to help everyone to the best of her ability, and she will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her three children, Colby Williams (Julia) of Bull Shoals, AR, Savannah Thompson (Mason), and Warren Hamilton both of Strong; one brother, Wayne Schoonover of Huttig, and one sister, Brittney Gathright (Jared) of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Sky Williams and Violet Thompson, an uncle, Glenn Carpenter; one aunt, Brenda McHenry (Allen); and a very special cousin, Candie Stafford; along with a host of other family and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
