Todd Glen McClain, 63, of Crossett, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1960, to his parents, R.E. and Nora Cunningham McClain, was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, and served honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard.
For many years he worked at the Berry Meat Packing Plant then went on to finish out his career at Ram-Fab in Crossett.
Todd enjoyed camping, fishing, and tinkering with small engines and other things.
He was a quiet man with a big generous heart who loved his family and friends and had a talent for making people laugh.
Outdoors is where Todd found his solace, and he was always happiest somewhere on a riverbank or just sitting on his porch admiring God’s handiwork.
Todd loved his family and friends and was affectionately called, “Uncle Todd” by many. He will forever be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Phyllis Long and Kendra Coody, and one grandson, Jacen McClain.
He leaves behind his long-time partner, Alice Smith of Crossett; his four children, Cara Primm (Michael) and Felicia Cole both of Clute, TX, and Justin and Kelsey McClain both of Crossett; along with one sister, Gina Meziere of Crossett; four brothers, Monte McClain (Sheila), Keith McClain, and Ricky McClain also of Crossett, and Douglas McClain of Minden, LA; and seven grandchildren.
