Tracy Joan Graves, 61, of Crossett, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. She was born on March 5, 1961, to Ronald and Becky Gardner. She was raised in Crossett from a young age and grew up being very close to her five siblings. She was an employee of Morris Transportation Services for over twenty years, in the safety department.
Tracy loved listening to music. She would listen to her favorite music at her desk at work, in the car, on documentaries, and at concerts with her best friend. Some of her favorite bands included The Band, The Eagles, Bob Seger, Van Morrison, and Adele. She loved and cared about her job very deeply. She considered her coworkers, and their families, her friends, and had a special place in her heart for “her drivers.”
When asked what she wanted to be as a little girl, she would always say a mother and a Mamaw one day. She fulfilled both of these wishes, and they were her greatest joy. She was a one-of-a-kind wife and mother, and an extraordinary Mamaw. She loved her family and friends fiercely, and they have described her as one of the most selfless women they knew. No matter what she had going on in her life, she would always try to look after the needs of others.
She is preceded in death by her mother; her sons, Wesley Ronan Graves, and Daniel Curt Graves; and a nephew, Patrick Glyn Page.
She leaves her father, Ronald Gardner of Crossett, AR; her husband of 44 years, Ronnie Graves of Crossett, AR; her daughter, Rachel Graves Garrett (Dylan) of Little Rock, AR; her granddaughter, Eleanor Wesley Garrett; her sisters, Gail Gardner Page (Larry) of Conway, AR; Christy Gardner Hackworth (Keith Helsel) of Palatka, FL; Kim Gardner McFarland of Crossett, AR; her brothers, Richard Gardner (Tammy) of Mangham, LA; Jay Gardner (Teri) of Crossett, AR; her best friend Nita Hobbs Keen of Longview, TX; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
