William Royal Jones, 58, of Crossett, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, on October 22, 1964, to his parents, Willie Joe and Lucy Nale Jones and was a 1982 graduate of Crossett High School.
William worked as a millwright and welder for several years for ICM (Industrial Construction Maintenance) and was known as for his amazing welding skills.
With an intense passion for motorcycles, William felt compelled to build his very own Harley part by part. After many months and long hours, he eventually succeeded and enjoyed many rides.
He is preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind one son, William Wyatt Jones of North Carolina; one brother, Philip Jones (LouAnn) of Crossett; two grandchildren, Landon and Raylan Jones of Coila, Mississippi; one nephew, Brandon Jones of Crossett; and one niece, Candace Pierce (Blake) of Niceville, Florida.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14th, at Birds Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Truxno, Louisiana with Bro. Glyn Nale officiating. Pallbearers are Philip Jones, Brandon Jones, David Nale, Johnny Holley, David Jones, and Dennis Jones.
