William Henry Pamplin, 63, of Crossett, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was born on February 21, 1953 to Frank and Johnnie Pamplin in Montrose, AR. William worked for 18 years as a truck driver before retiring and was a big fan of NASCAR, the New Orleans Saints and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He also loved walking his two dogs, Izzy and Daphne.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Houston Pamplin and Johnnie Louise Gregory Pamplin; and three brothers, Johnnie Frank Pamplin, Roger Dale Pamplin, and Robert Edward Pamplin.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Belva Ann Parrott Pamplin; three daughters, Michelle Spears of Wrightsville, AR, Lori Pamplin of Monticello, and Sherry Carter and husband Ken of Clarksville, AR; one son, William Pamplin and wife Kayleigh of Hartman, AR; one step son, Carl Harrington of Crossett; one step daughter, Kimberly Ballew and husband Michael of Crossett; three sisters, Earline Tabor and husband Jimmy of Thibodaux, LA; Betty Sue Ward and husband Butch of Hope, AR; and Mary Helen Walters and husband Sammy of Hamburg; two brothers, Harvey Pamplin and wife Margie and Wayne Pamplin and wife Martha also of Hamburg; along with 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 29th at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett with Bro. Lloyd Townsend officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W in North Crossett.
