I have known Bill for many years. We first met in Crossett, Arkansas in a little community known as Cooter. His younger brother, John Garner were very good friends and after John's passing, Bill, I knew him as Lewis at the time, became good friends. Bill and I shared a lot of good times together, sometimes in my 1966 Ford Mustang and sometimes in his Ford Galaxy. Bill and I lost touch with one another after I joined the Army in 1970 and only reconnected a few months ago via Facebook. I was so glad to get to spend time with him several times over the last few months reminiscing about our past experiences together and bringing each other up to date about our lives and experiences. He was a great friend and will be missed immensely. May all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren be blessed by the legacy he leaves behind.
