Willie Joyce (Harris) Doss

Willie Joyce Doss, 92, of Crossett, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1931, to her parents, Troy and Annie Harris of Crossett and attended Wallers Chapel Methodist Church.

Willie was the youngest of eight children. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Doss, and all seven siblings.

She leaves behind three daughters, Sheila Miller of Hot Springs, AR, Julie Williams (Mark) of Hamburg, and Kimberly Duncan of Crossett; and one son, Kirk Kirtley of Crossett; along with six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a special niece and nephew, Deanna Smith of Springville, UT and Timmy Atkins of Monticello, AR.

Willie was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved spending time with all her sisters, her brother, and her children. She enjoyed working in her yard in her younger years.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 14th, at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Crossett, with Bro. Jerry Martin officiating.
